In this atmospheric evening – the result of a week of intense work and exploration – the participants and lecturers of the Song Workshop present their own personal take on the Weimar Republic of Yiddishland. This year, they bring us music from the heyday of Yiddish song during the Weimar Republic – everything from 20th-century Yiddish art songs and cabaret tunes to new compositions based on interwar Yiddish poetry. An impressive collage of solo and choral performances, not to be missed!
